Magic Camp was originally a creation of Master Magician Jane Shiyah, beloved teacher across northern Berkshire for decades.

In summer 2024 she handed the camp over to her former student, apprentice magician Drew Zuckerman, a rising ninth grader at Mt. Greylock Regional High School.

Hello! My name is Drew Zuckerman, and my handle is Mr. Magic, short for The Magnificent Mister Magic. I began magic when I was 14 years old as Jane Shiyah’s apprentice when she was unable to continue running her summer camp at Sand Springs in Williamstown. I attend Mount Greylock Regional High School, and play multiple instruments, my main one being the Double Bass. In my classes I work hard to achieve my goal of being an Engineer when I get out of college.

While I am writing this, I’m trying my best to simply get the word out about this young magician hoping to make some money for his expensive hobbies. I do recruitment missions for my camp at local elementary schools, do shows at Farmers’ Markets, and all sorts of things. If you enjoy what you see after hiring me, please spread the word.
